Snapped?!

No, not me thats snapped! Its my power steering belt. I just had them replaced 6000KM ago. Aih, so now, tomorrow gonna get a new belt and install it myself. So now the car drives like freaking heavy tank! :O

Well, it has been a busy day today. I had to complete my design by this morning, and I nearly had no rest and no toilet break. NOt that Iam not entitled to toilet break, just that it is hard to break off from work once you start to get going. My design was actually delayed for a week. This is due to client's request to change certain requirement regarding their machines and factory layout. So once changes are confirmed, lots of parts will be modified to accomodate the new design. This is usually where the delay comes in. But still, we gotta finish it off. Can be done. Not a problem. The only main concern we have is that, we gotta be very very careful with the positioning of each parts as it might interfere with machines and the product. Alas! Thru teamwork and good cooperation between each other we are able to finish off the design in time to be fabricated. The only thing that is left are the guard fences and the new extension on the design. It is fun actually to be doing this. It really gives me a lot of ideas on how this should be done. Creative thinking process!!! *thumbs up!*

Anyway, my car power steering snapped this evening. I dont know why, maybe because it is of inferior quality. So tomorrow gotta sacrifice lunch to get a new belt and DIY it in. Not a big process. Just that Iam not sure about the procedures. So another call to Din.....

It is funny driving without power steering. I used to drive an Iswara. But the Iswara steering was much lighter eventho it is a bigger car. The heavy steering really makes turning very hard especially in corners where you need the most control.... So folks, check your belts always.... ;-)
